Mianeh City

In the northwest of Iran hidden in the mountains of East Azarbaijan Province lies a small city with over 300 registered historical sites. It’s the ancient city of Mianeh.

Mianeh dates back to the eighth century B.C.

The Kiz or Dokhtar (Girl) Bridge was actually the first historical monument to be put on Iran’s list of national heritage.
